SingFest, Prince Edward Island
October 21 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
SingFest PEI (Prince Edward Island) 2017 is the inaugural annual festival, coinciding with World Singing Day, that aims to promote the act of singing together. Events will bridge the gap between performers and audiences and bring back the joy of singing with everyone. By singing together, we can strengthen our community, and improve our physical and mental health!
SingFest begins October 15 and culminates with the PEI Community Chorus featuring singing ensembles and choirs from around PEI on World Singing Day, Oct. 21. Participating groups will take part in a group singalong of the Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love.”
Audiences will enjoy performances from:
The Charlottetown Legion Choir
Island A Cappella
Glen Stewart Primary School Choir (Grade 3)
Montague School Choir
UPEI Multicultural Song Circle
Teachers and Friends in Harmony Choir
Proud partners of SingFest PEI 2017 include: AIRS, Culture PEI, Music PEI, Alzheimer’s PEI, PEI Symphony Orchestra, UPEI Music, Confederation Court Mall, PEI Public Library Service, E Accounting Services, and the PEI Newcomers Association.
